The FrogDog Blog and Our Latest Fundraiser!
THIS IS THE MYSTERY CLOCK!
A very late update…
Anyone who reads the FROGDOG BLOG already knows this, but we are happy to say that the Mystery Clock, better known as the FrankenFrenchie Clock, found a new home in Maryland. Before it fled to its new digs, we are happy to say that it raised $425.00 for the delighted K-Kids at the FBVillage. None of whom, by the way, look anywhere near as awful as FrankenFrenchie! (Sorry, Kimberly, but you know it’s true…) You can read all about it on the FROGDOG BLOG!
Our good friend and tireless supporter of ALL French Bulldog rescues since she brought home her first French Bulldog sometime in the far distant reaches of the dim, dark past (a long, LONG time ago…), Carol Gravestock of the FROGDOG BLOG (it’s Canadian!) has graciously sponsored our latest fundraiser for us… you can read all about it on her blog…
All I can say here is that it concerns a dreadfully ugly handpainted mystery clock and the FBVillage board member who refuses to show it to anybody. So, we’ve decided to auction off the clock, sight unseen. Probably better that way…
For details on how to donate for a chance to win what could turn out to be the world’s ugliest handpainted clock, check out the FROGDOG BLOG for details. You can always give it to someone else for Christmas. Instead of coal…
For the record, it was Carol who actually founded the very first independent French Bulldog Rescue, known as the French Bulldog Underground Railroad (FURR), for the express purpose of rescuing a very difficult little French Bulldog from Connecticut named Fred Mertz (remember I Love Lucy?). While in foster care, Fred was renamed Freddy Krueger, and that really says it all. Despite his appalling lack of social skills, Freddy found a home four thousand miles away in Oregon, where he lived happily ever after. Don’t worry, so did his adoptive family!

Yes, I picked her up in my new fangled ‘horseless carriage’….
